This cocoon has so many layers,
To break through the barriers,
Takes a lot of blood and guts,
Climbin this hill leaves so many cuts,
Thorns sharper than razors,
Can't just sit and be one with star-gazers,
Hard to turn my head the stars are so alluring,
Filled my eyes with supernovas purring,
Blinding in so many ways but I stare on anyway,
And even after my sight is gone I will still keep on,
Pulling myself to reach that next tier,
Holding out my own hand to reach for here,
Knowing I can make it with the right moves,
Slip myself into silky slick velvet grooves
