A vision appears so brief,

Cloudy gaze other side of leaf,

Where once was split try to mend,

The domino tumble toward trend,

Was for love or lack thereof,

Care not for those abandoned in mud,

Cold steel drilled cement shield,

Here comes yellow we must yield,

For soon red arrive stumble in dive,

Accept lemons grateful to be alive,

For one day they won't taste so sour,

Bittersweet still yet far less power,

Time ripped in two some don't bother,

Some for mother and some for father,

Here is your holiday what do you say,

Hello once again I somehow feel stranger,

Every split through heart we endanger,

This fragile thread is getting torn,

Obey creed you bow to master,

New task now must type faster,

Laugh at the famous names,

Must find amusement or insane,

Hour upon hour tedious here,

Must hold illusion clear,

This carpal tunnel surface fear,

Temporary and expendable one,

Show weakness and I am done,

Need the money barrel of gun,

Pointed at my wallet so empty,

Refuse hand outs were lent me,

Self-suffice throw my own dice,

Gamble with excess what a mess,

Spend here should save unless,

This debt drown in deep,

Good & Evil

A melancholy melody fills my memory,

Takes away to where dreams dwell to be,

A new reality of imaginary magic,

Battling the forces that know only tragic,

A world where I am the hero in the sky,

Evil men plot with schemes to try,

The innocent look for hope in light,

A dark cloud descends to shroud their sight,

This sword I wield will free them from plight,

I cut this path and cleave through blight,

A friend to rely turns and betrays,

The hero only sees the good in ways,

Those who once loved now try to destroy,

His people cast him out a wicked ploy,

Every journey must have it's hardships,

Strength to rise from sunken ships,

The captain will sail on this sea again,

Regain the love from all around him,

And as the shadows hasten for malice,

The hero will claim the golden chalice,

Drink of the cleansing waters,

A stainless mind that never falters,

And so it is the enemy has last resort,

Spawned from desperation will contort,

To threaten the innocent the choice is rent,

Seek the truth an answer lies hidden sent,

Step forth good hero an action must make,

The lesser evil doth beckon bitter wake,

Free them and take me in their place,

I am the target your path always chase,

Foolish but wise I will let them go,

Your soul I will steal and take down below,

I laugh at your attempt to frighten,

For you forget the rule of final titan,

Good over evil the epic brawl,

Always ends with villain's fall,

With these words the dark rushes light,

They clash supernova eclipse of white,

A clap of thunder the earth tremble,

The ground cracks and all assemble,

The hero stands over evil husk,

A sun rise to welcome dusk,

Ryu

We are rangers this breath of fire,

Summon the dragon and never tire,

This sword I wield through great peril,

Guard the innocent tread ever so careful,

This shrine so holy records my tales of glory,

Take heed for your new lord is demon deceit,

Appear the dragon a demon shall defeat,

The Destined Child will destroy this evil,

His faithful companions join upheaval,

The canine loyal a feline feral,

An armadillo with rock solid shell,

Continue the journey to the wind city,

Claim a princess of winged sentry,

Magic begins a monkey with a hat,

He uses his dagger a general at that,

Our next friend is a frog fencer,

A rapier he wields a plot grows tenser,

Onward march a circus we see,

A walking plant speaks to nature freely,

And last but not least a familiar face,

The naga sorceress of most powerful race,

Encounter the Demon at last we meet,

A paralysis inflict a sorrowful defeat,

My friends are dead I am filled with rage,

Unleash my dragon and break free from this cage,

Charge the Demon and avoid his fury,

Revive my friends and vanquish evil surely,

Strike the final blow the Demon reels below,

Slowly vanish and emits last words,

Sleep and dream of death till time to emerge,

The gateway is open the evil can escape,

A sacrifice is made the hero must make,

Final transform the dragon guards the gate,

Where is our hero his destiny sealed his fate

Train

Traveling on this train so mundane,

Look to my left the puppet's breath,

They laugh when told agree from fear,

Pull this string threaten what's dear,

Money is the route this trivial pursuit,

A means to an end but tell me when it does,

The wheels keep turning and gathering rust,

Corroded from blood we sweat everyday,

Rush to wax the souls of the fray,

Glittering once but now dull as dirt,

A dream put on shelf we settle as shirt,

Possibly achieve when it gets routine,

Inch our way closer and forget what has been,

A toiling turmoil farming gold in hard soil,

So dry with no life sustained though we try,

Where is the rabbit hidden in hat,

An inner weakness can't defeat this,

For shame this deed a favor may lead,

Down the path of trouble,

Things changed it makes it double,

Lies and deceit the spike was driven,

The trust broken a dragon awoken,

This blood burns as anger churns,

Malice intention serves my invention,

Captivate attention wrench victim,

A decision made in haste,

Looking back it was waste,

A good moment turned sour,

Honor

Tell me what you think honor is,

The definition eludes most who ponder this,

Perhaps the opinion you simply don't agree,

Truly honor is measured relatively,

Or even it could change through the age,

To give one's life for a formidable cause,

They believed it was righteous just because,

Maybe they wanted to die in glory,

Instead of in bed so old and lonely,

But is it glorious to fall in blood,

Horrific pain as reaper stands above,

Or shall we speak of everyday life,

Not just in death can we be honorable right,

Carry it with us through every action,

May our honor guide us never divide in fraction,

It can't be measured to exist with honor,

The word is like granite never sully to dishonor,

As we know liars exist but there is variety,

Some for personal gain others to protect and refrain,

I believe you can hold honor and still tell a lie,

If it really protects and not just a delusion to you and I,

Because inevitably someday we all must die,

Our past deeds to reflect in the final moments,

Did we make good decisions or moral incisions,

It's obvious to see those with no honor,

The badge they wear is putrid filled with dishonor,

To return to self sacrifice is what I'd like to believe,

That others than me would give their life happily,

If it meant to save someone even a stranger,

To dive into peril of infinite danger,

In the end don't we all want to be remembered,

What better way then an old man teaching his kin,

Of that glorious one who gave their life for them,

To say these words means nothing if not done,

Until the day approach when deed calls one,

Will you be ready for sudden bravery,

Or avoid the fight and seek cowardly,

The few will stand and truly die honorably

Sober

Evil comes in many forms,

For us it sneaks in subtle storms,

Demons lie in wait for a gate,

Alcohol typically their favorite,

Consume and the desire starts to loom,

All once done creeps out seeking one,

They plead for sustenance sell our will,

Refuse and the plague begins to drill,

This hole so deep through the core,

Takes a saint to dismiss and ignore,

Or perhaps more common is our strength,

Most often overlooked to fall in rank,

Forge a path to abstain further glass,

Each battle won is a slow victory,

Everyday the demons speak wickedly,

Sacrifices demand succeed or life bland,

Like the peak of a song it always draws on,

At the height of it's nature it stems terror,

Wrought with deceit and always so clever,

It knows what buttons to push what levers to pull,

It lives deep inside suing for control,

And no matter how deep it creeps to surface,

Bends good will and throws into furnace,

To scream might help but it's probably worthless,

These demons feed off desperate excursions,

Raise their flag another night,

This war almost lost no hope is in sight,

Descend with the demon hold their hand,

Finally meet once dead just as they planned

Someday

Come with me take a trip through space,

Not the galactic kind just empty trace,

No stars out here all we see no fear,

Mere worries evaporate like steam,

Drifts above and away like a dream,

This here image I create perplex fate,

The destiny unwritten manifest desire,

Climb higher to aspire to claim the fire,

For it won't burn I will shield you,

This metal so strong impenetrable,

Forged long ago although most don't think so,

Forgive the naysayers nothing better to do,

They can't dream like us they only steal,

Planets so alien yet to us we are sharing them,

Marshes and crags grown desolate from decay,

Let's transform them to forests and fields fine display,

The plants have vibrant colors and sing as you walk,

All the animals look amused and act happy when you talk,

An ocean so vast it seems to be infinite,

Luminous creatures swim in merriment,

Coral reef large as an Earthen city,

With equal inhabitants drawn to it's beauty,

Amidst the sky the birds flock so very high,

Dancing with the suns the warmth becomes,

Energy as life no need to migrate from strife,

A world free from war all live in harmony,

Perhaps we can live there someday so far away

Iron Lung

I know what it's like among,

Those trapped in an iron lung,

Literal or not there is no escape,

Inferno seething within my wake,

Like being chained to a wall,

The shackles bite my wrists so raw,

The harder I fight the more it might,

Finally break me down and nothing left,

So I sit and wait all the bitterness kept,

Clenching of teeth the thoughts tumble,

Falling over eachother an answer I fumble,

At the tip of my tongue so fleeting,

I try to catch but barely meeting,

Resort to usual act which is retract,

It so happens the iron lung is a shield,

If I left who knows what horrors unreeled,

Perhaps they stalk and plot for the day,

When I leave this prison I become their prey,

Unbeknownst at first but slowly I see,

I turn to look yet the darkness is light,

It was shrouded in doubt but I removed with insight,

Cast aside this cage and revel in kind sage,

Wisdom consume and no longer so gloom,

It existed once but now forgotten,

The iron lung I forsook and simply grew rotten

Blind

All that exists the target it seem,

Forget and filter all that between,

Abandon of reason to use any mean,

Trample the hurdles jump over beam,

Reckless and ruthless isn't it useless,

Pursuit of nooses unfathomable uses,

Refuge in excuses to flee fallen truces,

Perfuse these misuses to blind all abuses,

Ragged of tongue so wicked it stung,

Filthy among the lepers that brung,

Diseases unsung the corpses that hung,

Black rotten lung the sickness it clung,

Infected the mind rescind what you find,

Erase and rewind rewrite new design,

Trace the pattern to locate the sign,

Decipher so fine read between line,

Create this identity free will made to be,

Ban obscurity harness purity for reality,

No malady just clean lacking fallacy,

Proud to be apart of causality,

For when the limit is finally reach,

Logic that teach to survive common leech,

Overwrite that agenda no glorious speech,
