Green

Perfect pieces fill the creases,

Fold the puzzle never ceases,

Machine made efficient gas pumping,

Toxic waste pollute by dumping,

Harness the fire what a start,

Murder nature not so smart,

Empty mission to survive ambition,

Strive for glory build hundredth story,

Feel the earth tremble and tremor,

Think its better yet torn by letter,

Siphon our food from the mother of good,

Drain her life to sustain our strife,

Then we question why skin burns oceans rise,

What did we do to deserve fated demise,

The plants they laugh and the trees stare,

We were first and we gave mother care,

She gave us life and we cherished it dear,

Took what we needed to exist no excess here,

No material possession only food nutrition,

Our brothers the wild they kill as their style,

To feed their young the circle live among,

They own no jewels they would think for fools,

Digging out her flesh to garnish our necks respect,

And now the sky falls you have surely doomed us all,

The peaceful trees now burn to ashes,

All wild life dies to famine shelter crashes,

Our soil is dry no water to drink we must die,

Wither and fade like your revolution industrial,

Climax of technology only led more catastrophe,

And still you wonder why your home is destroyed,

Because you forgot her home which is now a void
