Flow of Life

Strum the chords of a familiar tune,

Play it soft and play it soon,

If it ends I will repeat the song,

Listen close and forget all that's wrong,

Lose myself in the instrumental bliss,

Each note is passion I reminisce,

So clear and crisp I cherish every sound,

Even when it ends I keep it in my head year round,

Save it for that time when it rains,

Or when I'm stabbed by nostalgic stains,

A memory so vivid with a beautiful soundtrack,

Flowing like a river forward and back,

Until the rocks are worn by the water's course,

Smooth as silk it rolls off remorse,

Someday it will reach that glorious sea,

Where the plenty of fish swim happily
