Hangman

Marching under hollow banner,

Wrists shackle fragile manner,

Each step brings me closer to death,

Savor sweet breath soon none left,

Grim captors spy for cause,

Absent torment justify laws,

Bleak horizon a sight from afar,

An eclipse of fate feather and tar,

A vulture circles the smell of prey,

My body still alive but spirit decay,

I start to tremble a terror sets in,

Knees quake sin revel wicked felon,

Yellow streak pass I lift my head,

Walk the line I'll soon be dead,

The jaws open wide drooling hate,

Tighten my noose to seal my fate,

Sudden snap was all it took,

Robbed the life this petty crook
